Marvel’s Iron Man VR will be released for PlayStation VR on July 28, 2025.
Friday’s announcement confirms a delay for the game, which was originallyrevealed in March for release in 2019(and is still listed as coming this year on Marvel’s website), although it’s perhaps unsurprising given how little has been seen of the title recently.

In development for the past three years at Seattle-basedCamouflaj, the studio behind stealth thriller République, the game will now hit stores one week afterThe Last of Us Part 2’s release dateand three days afterUbisoft‘sGods and Monsters launches.
A new story trailer viewable at the top of this page was released to coincide with Friday’s announcement. It reveals Iron Man will be facing off against Ghost, a Marvel villain recently portrayed by Hannah John-Kamen in 2018 movie Ant-Man and the Wasp.

In aPlayStationBlogpostwhich also details the various editions ofMarvel’s Iron Man VR, lead writerBrendan Murphysaid: “Ghost is a great foil for Tony Stark—she not only holds a grudge against our hero, but holds a mirror up to him.
“As a witness to the damage caused by Stark-made weapons years earlier, Ghost’s fight against Iron Man is both ideological and personal. Because of Ghost, our complex and fascinating hero must reconcile his troubled past, both on and off the battlefield.”
