Polyphony Digital has revealed what it’s billing as Gran Turismo 7’s “largest” update since the game’s release last year.

As expected, the Spec II Update 1.40 willintroduce seven new carswhen it launches today at 11pm PST (November 2 at 6am GMT), plus the Lake Louise snow circuit, which includes three track layouts.

The patch will also add a four-player split-screen Couch Mode, and Quick Race withSophy (AI driver agent) integration, both of which will be available exclusively onPS5.

Other new features, which are detailed in full on thePlayStation Blog, include 50 Challenges added to Licenses, fresh World Circuits events, and additional Café / Extra Menus.

Gran Turismo 7was released forPS4and PS5 in March 2022. It was also made available as aPlayStationVR2 launch title in February 2023, as a free upgrade for existing owners.
