An English dub for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will arrive this month.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studioconfirmed in Octoberthat the game wouldn’t include an English dub at release, but that a new language voice pack would be added in a post-launch update.

“We’re excited to announce the English dub for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is coming in December via a free update!” itsaidthis week.

In a recent interview withAutomaton, he also said the studio once considered releasing it as DLC before deciding to flesh it out into its own game.
The spin-off, which takes place betweenYakuza6 and 7, tells the story of Kazuma Kiryu, who fakes his own death and disappears from the public eye to protect his loved ones.

Priced at $50 / £45, it was released last month forPS5,PS4,Xbox Series X/S,Xbox OneandPC. Itincludes a demo for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which iscoming to the same platforms in January 2024.
