The voice of Sylens in Lego Horizon Adventures has been revealed.
Lance Reddick, who previously played the role of Sylens in the Horizon series,passed away last March at the age of 60.
Earlier this monthGuerrillaconfirmed that the role had been recast in its next title. VGC can now confirm that inLego Horizon Adventures, Sylens is played by Tim Russ, a veteran voice actor who’s previously appeared inStarfield, Horizon Forbidden West, andThe Last of Us Part II.
It is currently unknown if Russ will serve as the permanent new performer for the role.
Following Reddick’s passing,Guerrilla created a Lance Reddick memorialinHorizon: Forbidden West’s Burning Shores expansion.
The conclusion to the DLC suggested Guerrilla planned for Reddick’s character tohave a significant role in the next Horizon game, although it’s unclear if this will be the case or not.
The actor was also well known in the gaming world for playing Commander Zavala inBungie’sDestinyfranchise.

Co-developed by Guerrilla and Studio Gobo, Lego Horizons Adventures will be released onPS5, PC and Nintendo Switch on November 14.
