Falanghe left Squad, the studio behind Kerbal Space Program, back in 2016, roughly five years after the game’s first public release. He went on to found a new studio, Floating Origin Interactive, and started work on a new game called Balsa ModelFlight Simulator.

That game has now been renamed Kitbash Model Club, and is set for release onPClater this year.

Fewer people are playing Kerbal Space Program 2 than the original game

The game is set on an island called Wirraway, which consists of a number of environments including a city, beaches, fields and highways.

Players can create their own RC model vehicles and test them in these environments, or challenge friends to an RC dogfight.

In a statement, Falange said: “Kitbash Model Club is a game I have always dreamed of making, ever since I was a kid.

“RC models are something I have been fascinated by. I used to spend hours building balsa wood airplane models and inventing things. Creating questionably-engineered contraptions is something I’ve always had in me.”
