Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan has said the company is excited to start working with Nixxes Software on PC games.
PlayStation recently acquired the Netherlands-based studio, which is best known for its work on the PC versions of multipleSquare Enixproperties including Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Hitman, Thief, and Legacy of Kain.
In aFamitsuinterview published on Wednesday, Ryan saidPlayStationwas “happy to be in the early stages of bringing our IP to the PC, and look forward to working withNixxesto help us do that”.
In a press release announcing the acquisition on July 1,Sonysaid Nixxes would join “PlayStation Studios Technology, Creative & Services Group to provide high quality in-house technical and development capabilities for PlayStation Studios”.

Speaking in June, Hulst saidthe platform holder was “still early on in our planning for PC” but suggested PlayStation consoles would always be the priority for new releases.

Sony is planning to make Uncharted 4 one of its next PC releases, according to presentation documents published as part of an investor relations event in May.
