Sony is reportedly planning to release a range of God of War Ragnarök merchandise this year.
As spotted by VGC reader@the_marmolade, several t-shirts, plush dolls and accessories for the game have been added to retailerGeeky Zone, with a release date of July 08, 2025.

It’s worth noting that this could be a placeholder date and, as companies often release merchandise before the actual launch of the game, is not necessarily indicative of when the game itself will release.
The September 30 date is reportedly the same used for the game itselfon PlayStation’s database.

Officially,God of War Ragnarökis slated for “2022”, but there’s been no significant update on its release timing since last summer.
However, along with other recent evidence, the merchandise seemingly adds credence to the chance of Ragnarök releasing this year as planned.

Earlier today, it was discovered that the sequel has been rated inSouth Korea.
For comparison,Horizon Forbidden Westwas rated in South Korea in November 2021 and was released three months later in February 2022.

In April, developerSonySanta Monica Studiotweeted a videoin which series headCory Barlog asked fans to remain patientfor news on the upcomingGod of Warsequel.
“Speaking of God of War Ragnarök, the elephant in the room… We haven’t said a lot about this – that’s because everybody is heads down, hard at work,” he said.

“We are perfectionists. Everyone’s tightening up the graphics on level three, there is so much going on right now that I just wish that we could share it with you, but it’s just not ready to be shown.
The video led to some concern that the God of War Ragnarök release date could have slipped from its promised 2022 window. However, the game’s animation director Bruno Velazquezlater stated: “Ragnarok is coming this year.”
