Insomniac will premiere new Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart PlayStation 5 gameplay during Gamescom: Opening Night Live this week.
HostGeoff Keighleysaid on Tuesday that the gameplay would entail a longer and uncut version ofthe demo shown during June’s PlayStation 5 showcase.
The show is set to start at 11am PT / 2pm ET /7pm BST on Thursday, August 27 and feature 38 games, butfocus on titles that have already been announced.

Insomniac Gamescreative directorMarcus Smithsaid at the time that the new “interdimensional adventure” has been built from the ground up for the next-gen console.
“All of our alien worlds are filled with density and life previously unseen,” he said. “Ratchet’s all-new arsenal is more exciting than ever thanks to the DualSense controller’s advanced feedback.”
Insominaic Games also announcedMarvel Spider-Man Miles Moralesduring the PS5 software reveal event. It will be released during the console’s holiday 2020 launch window.
