The Xbox Games Showcase is taking place later today and you can watch it live here.
The presentation is a two-part affair, consisting of a general games showcase followed by a specific show based on the upcomingCall of Duty: Black Ops 6.
The show kicks off at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST. It will be viewable live on major streaming sites likeYouTubeandTwitch, as well as the YouTube video embedded at the top of this page.
This is arguably one of the most importantXboxGames Showcases in recent years, because the company’s acquisition ofActivision Blizzardand its subsequent closure of numerous studios has had many speculating about its current state and stability.
Following the main Xbox Games Showcase, a Black Ops 6 Direct will give all the information on the next game in the Call of Duty series, which has already beenconfirmed to be an Xbox Game Pass title.
According to a report onThe Vergein April,Microsoftwill have “a lot of games to show” at the event, including titles planned for 2025.
The report also lists what it claims aretarget launch months for Xbox’s first-party games coming in 2024, includingStarfield‘s Shattered Space expansion, the new Call of Duty, Indiana Jones and The Great Circle,Flight Simulator2024 andAvowed.
