Can’t quite figure outhow to unequip pets in Pet Simulator 99? The process is a little different to the last game, and you can’t do it straight away.
It won’t matter where you look in the game’s various menus. If you’re not far enough through the latest BIG Games pet collection title, you won’t find what you’re looking for. Here’s what to do.
How to unequip pets in Pet Simulator 99
To toggle your pets in Pet Simulator 99, you have to get a fair way through the game. Only then will the necessary button appear.
You’ll only be able to unequip your PS99 pets after hitting three Rebirths. These happen at the vcat shrines in Areas 25, 50, and 75 respectively. It’s quite a grind.
Once you trigger the third rebirth, open up the pet menu to see a new button between the Lock andGridicons at the top.
This is the Teams menu, which lets you set up five pet teams to quickly switch between. Keep one completely empty and you can use it as a shortcut to unequip your PS99 pets.
How to turn off automatically equipping your best pets in PS99
In Pet Simulator X, it was possible to unequip pets from the very beginning. You simply went into the Pets menu and tapped an equipped pet to toggle it off.
In PS99, however, attempting to do so results in an error stating that your best pets are already equipped: suggesting it’s something you’re able to toggle.
In reality, you’re able to’t turn off the ‘Automatically equip best pets’ option in Pet Simulator 99. It’s on by default, and there’s no way to toggle it.
