Here, you’ll bump into a woman who’ll ask if you can look after her home while she’s away for a week. Agree, and you’ll be able to use it like a free inn for a week. She’ll ask you to sleep there the whole time, but you only need to stay the once — if that.

At the end of the seven-day period, the quest log will update to let you know that she’s home. Talk to her in the courtyard around her place again and she’ll admit that she wants to move to her holiday destination.
To help with the moving costs, she’ll offer to sell you the house for 20,000 gold. Agree, and the house is yours for good.

How to get a house in Bakbattahl
The second instance you can get a house in Dragon’s Dogma 2 comes when you enterBattahland eventually reach the Beastren capital of Bakbattahl.
Here, you’ll have the option of staying at the flagship in for 9,999 Gold, the smaller inn for 2,000 gold, or buying a house in Bakbattahl for 20,000 Gold to pass the time in your own dwelling.

You can buy the home near theRareBook Stand before the Residental Ward in Bakbattahl for 30,000 Gold. Like the ones in Vernworth, it’s a cheaper option to resting at an inn in the long-term.
How to get a second house in Vernworth
