How to sneak into Sven’s Chambers inDragon’s Dogma 2
Once you’re through with the brunt of the main quests in Vernworth, you’re going to get a request to see Sven in his chambers.
The lad’s days of sneaking out to the fountain in the Merchant’s Quarter are long gone, andCaptain Brantwill have already told you tosneak into Battahlinstead, leaving you without a sneaky royal escort to slide you through the door. So what can you do?
To sneak into Sven’s Chambers, you need to remember how you got into the palace the first time. You won’t need any special disguise. The entrance to the Guardhouse on your left after the western walkway, which Sonia helped you slide into earlier in the story, is now completely unmanned, leaving you free to waltz right in.
You’ll notice the music change as you enter. This signals the need to sneak around. It’s only the more important-looking guards that’ll clock you, though, and they’re few and far between. You shouldn’t have too much to worry about.
Just keep an eye on the camera locking onto a face and do what you may to avoid bumping into them.
To get to Sven’s Chambers, just head right as you enter the Guardhouse, and keep going. Follow the map to the main doors of the Audience Chamber, dip into the area on either side while a few talkative guards come out, and worm your way in once the coast is clear.
At this point, you should be free to sprint up either of the spiral staircases you’ll soon see on your left and right as you walk toward the throne. Take the left staircase. Head down the hallway, avoiding any unhelmeted patrols, and make a break for the room tucked away in the corner.
In here, you’re certain to find Sven, who’ll let you know of a new development in his little investigation, which kick-starts the A Veil of Gossamer Clouds quest.
