Guerrilla Games’ next major release will reportedly be its Horizon online game.
That’s according to Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier, who discussed theSonystudio’s plans for its flagship series during a recentSpawn Wavepodcast.

“Horizon Online is their next product, not whatever the third single-player game looks like,” he said. “So, that one might be a ways off.”
“A lot of people are working on that,” Schreier added of the live service Horizon game.

Guerrillaannounced in December 2022 that it wasworking on an online gameset in the Horizon universe, featuring “a new cast of characters and a unique stylised look”.
Little has been heard of the title since, and Sony hasn’t confirmed a launch window for the game. ThePlayStationfirm hasexperienced significant teething problemswith its push into the live service games market, includingcancelling a Last of Us multiplayer gameandpulling Concord from sale after just two weeks.

When it announced the Horizon multiplayer game, Guerrilla also confirmed plans to continue making “epic solo adventures” featuring series protagonist Aloy, who starred in 2017’sHorizon Zero Dawnand 2022’sHorizon Forbidden West.
