Hogwarts Legacy Giant Purple Toad location
Giant Purple Toads are everywhere in Hogwarts Legacy. We found ours just south of North Sea Bog Floo location.
Hogwarts Legacy Hippogriff location
You can find Hippogriff in several locations, including the Forbidden Forest, and in the South West, near Feldcroft.
Hogwarts Legacy Thestral location
Thestrals can be found in several locations, we found ours at Marunweem Lake, but you’ll also have to catch one for Deek’s questline.
Hogwarts Legacy Phoenix location
The Hogwarts Legacy Phoenix appears at the end of Deek’s questline which is given to you when you have the Room of Requirement. Follow that to the end and you’ll rescue the Phoenix for your room of requirement.
Hogwarts Legacy Unicorn location
The Unicorn in Hogwarts Legacy can only be found in the Forbidden Forrest, and only a single Unicorn appears at a time. They’re the toughest to catch, but once you unlock the Arresto Momentum spell, it makes it far easier.
Hogwarts Legacy Shiny beasts
Hogwarts Legacy beasts can also be shiny, like inPokemon. Weirdly enough the shiny beasts have the exact same icon in Hogwarts Legacy as in Pokemon. Unfortunately, there’s no real benefit to them and they aren’t particularly rare, just a bit of visual difference for your Room of Requirement habitats.
Hogwarts Legacy beast breeding
By collecting Beasts in Hogwarts Legacy, you will be able to breed new beasts in the vivariums. Doing this is necessary for a trophy, and will also reward you with more potions and upgrade materials.
In order to breed beasts in Hogwarts Legacy, you’ll have to unlock the ability to create pens, which can be done by following Deek’s storyline, during which you’ll be given the ability to spawn pens in vivariums in exchange for Moonstone.

Then simply place two beasts in the pens, and wait for the timer to elapse. The trophy will only ping once the breeding is complete, simply putting the two beasts in the pen won’t trigger it.
