Feral Interactive has announced an updated version of Hitman: Blood Money for Nintendo Switch and mobile.

The title is billed as “a comprehensive reworking” ofIO Interactive’s stealth-action game, which was originally released forPC,PS2andXboxconsoles in 2006, and later updated for other platforms.

Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal will be released foriOSandAndroiddevices this autumn and forSwitchthis winter.

“Reprisal is a comprehensive reworking of the stealth-action classic, refined for screens large and small — with a new Minimap, Instinct Mode, and gameplay improvements inspired by later games in the series,” according to Feral.

While IO Interactive plans to continue evolving its Hitman World of Assassination trilogy, it said in March that the next major entry in its best known franchisehas taken a backseat for the time being.

The company announced in November 2020 that it wasdeveloping an officially licensed James Bond game. With the working title Project 007, it will feature an original James Bond origin story.

And in February,IO confirmed that’s it’s working on an online fantasy RPG, which could bepublished by Microsoft for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
