Hideo Kojima will take the stage at SXSW 2025 next month to reveal new details about Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
Taking place on March 9 at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, theDeath Stranding2 panel will be hosted byKojima Productionsin collaboration with publisherPlayStation.
According to the officialannouncement, the panel will be used to “discuss and share new details” about the game, which is scheduled to be released forPS5later this year.
Those who don’t attend the event will be able to tune in via a livestream, with more details set to be announced soon.
It’s possible that we’ll see more of Death Stranding 2, and learn the game’s release date, before next month’s panel.

Death Stranding 2 wasannounced in December 2022. Its reveal trailer confirmed that Norman Reedus, who portrayed protagonist Sam Bridges in the original, will be returning alongside Léa Seydoux, who played the character Fragile.Troy Bakerwill also star.
