The potential release date for Halo Infinite has reportedly been shared early by a Taiwanese retailer.
Twitter user Isle Sloth shared a screenshot of an image that is claimed to be from a Taiwanese online shopping website.
If the image is genuine, it claims that the game will be released on December 8.

However, the listing simply mentions Forge – it doesn’t specifically state that the mode will be available from day one – and may be pulling information from an earlier product description, given thatHalodeveloper343 Industriesonly announced three days ago thatForge was being delayeduntil 2022.
Halo Infinite didn’t feature duringXbox‘sGamescomlive stream on Tuesday, leading some to believe that it may instead appear during the Gamescom Opening Night Live show tonight.
Earlier this morning the show’s producerGeoff Keighleywas tweeting Xbox fansasking them if they were ready for the show, while Windows Central reporter Jez Corden stated that “Xbox fans will want to watch Gamescom Opening Night Live,” to which Keighleyresponded with a hushed face emoji.

343 Industries confirmed earlier this week thatit’s delayed two launch modesin order to make the game’s planned holiday 2021 release date.
Both Forge and campaign co-op will now release in 2022, with the former arriving six months after the game’s release, which still isn’t locked to an exact date.
The Australian Classification boardrated Halo Infiniteearlier this month, suggesting a release date isn’t far off.
In June, Xbox bossPhil Spencerdiscussedwhy Halo Infinite doesn’t yet have a confirmed release date. Asked if the game is still coming this year during aDropped Frames podcast, Spencer said “yeah, absolutely”, but thatMicrosoftwas still finalising release timing.
