Grasshopper Manufacture will be hosting its first ever ‘Direct’ presentation next week.
The No More Heroes and Shadows of the Damned studio, led by Suda51, announced that the first Grasshopper Direct will take place on:
Earlier this week it was discovered that the studio had been counting down to this time, claiming that “something’s gonna happen” when the timer ran out.
It’s now clear that the timer was counting down to the Grasshopper Direct, rather than any one specific announcement.
One game that may make an appearance during the Grasshopper Direct is Shadows of the Damned Remastered,which was announcedat the same time as the Direct.

Shadows of the Damned was released in June 2011 onPS3andXbox 360, and was a collaboration between Grasshopper’sGoichi Suda(aka Suda51) andShinji Mikami.
Grasshopper Manufacture was acquired by Chinese publisher NetEasein October 2021, but hasn’t released any new games since then.
The studio’s last game was No More Heroes III, which was released onSwitchin August 2021 before being ported toPS4,PS5,Xbox One,Xbox Series X/SandPCin October 2022.
