The high-end edition of God of War Ragnarok went on sale in the US on Friday, where it was available for less than 15 minutes before selling out.
At the time of writing, there are hundreds of listingson eBay US for the Jotnar edition, being resold for between $400 – $500. Officially, the edition retails for $260.

TheGod of War RagnarokJotnar edition, which includes several collectable items such as a 16” Mjölnir replica, first went on sale in Australia for$399.99 AUSD but instantly sold out.
It would later go on sale in the UK, where it was briefly available from UK retailer Game for £220. Customers were unable to purchase the item 2 minutes after it went on sale.

The item, which is currently listed on Ebay for as much as triple its RRP was added to various US retailers on Friday, including Walmart,PlayStationDirect and GameStop, but outside of a small amount of stock that was added to Walmart around 90 minutes after preorders opened, it was similarily difficult for players to get their hands on it.
While the God of War Ragnarok Jotnar edition launched in the US on PlayStation Direct, theUK version of Sony’s storefronthas yet to open preorders, despite it being expected on Friday. The website still lists the item as “coming soon” however it’s unknown when, or if PlayStation Direct will offer the item in the UK.

A Collector’s edition of the game, which also includes 16” Mjölnir replica but not the 7inch vinyl also went on sale, and faces a similar scalping issue, although it isn’t being sold at quite the markup that the Jotnar edition is.
Retailer listings for the gamehave revealed several new features, including the supported graphics modes on PS5. “Switchbetween full 4K resolution at a targeted 30 frames per second, or dynamic resolution upscaled to 4K at a targeted 60fps,” reads the product description on retail sites.
