Sony Interactive Entertainment has released a God of War PC features trailer and confirmed the game’s system requirements.
Announced in October andset for release on July 19, 2025, thePCversion of the game is beingdeveloped by Canadian studio Jetpack Interactive, with supervision from original creatorSanta Monica Studio.
Jetpack is a port house and support studio which has also worked on Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare II,Dark SoulsPC and various NBA Live games.
“You’ll be able to enjoy the full potential of our cinematic, no-cut camera as it follows Kratos and Atreus across the realms with the option of true 4k resolution, on supported devices, and unlocked framerates,” Grace Orlady, senior community manager at Santa Monica Studio, previously told thePlayStation Blog.
“Our PC version includes a wide range of graphical presets and options so you can fine-tune your visual experience based on your setup. From higher resolution shadows and improved screen space reflections to enhancements to the ambient occlusion pipeline with GTAO and SSDO – God of War on the PC can create striking visual quality unique to the platform.
“We’re also happy to announce that we will have full integration withNVIDIADeep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) available on RTX,” Orlady continued. “You won’t have to sacrifice high graphical settings and output resolutions for high performance in God of War.
“In addition to DLSS we will also have NVIDIA Reflex low latency technology available. Reflex delivers a more responsive experience allowing you to react quicker and hit harder combos.”
The game will offer customisable keyboard and mouse controls and will also support various pads including DualShock 4 and DualSense wireless controllers.
God of War PC buyers will gain access to the following digital content:
God of War released forPS4in April 2018 and had sold 19.5 million copies as of August 2021, according toSony. Its sequel,God of War Ragnarök, will be released for PS4 andPS5in 2022.
