Here are the first The Last of Us remake images showing how the new PlayStation 5 version compares to its PlayStation 4 remaster.
The long-anticipated PS5 remake of The Last of Us was finally officially confirmed on Thursday.

“Enjoy a total overhaul of the original experience, faithfully reproduced but incorporating modernized gameplay, improved controls and expanded accessibility options. Plus, feel immersed with improved effects and enhanced exploration and combat.”
The game will be released for PS5 on August 02, 2025, and the trailer confirms it’s in development forPCtoo.

Naughty Doghas also shown off the first concept art for its standaloneThe Last of Us multiplayer game.
During an appearance at Thursday’sSummer Game Festshowcase, studio co-president Neil Druckmann said the game is as big as any of Naughty Dog’s single-player titles.
It has its own story, a brand-new cast of characters, and more information on the game will be released in 2023.
