Footage of the now-scrapped Transformers: Reactivate has appeared online.
The gameplay, which can be seen below, appeared online following the news that Transformers: Reactivate had been canceled by developerSplash Damagethis week.
The London-based studio behindGears Tactics, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, and Dirty Bomb announced the news on Wednesday in an X post.
“Today, we have some very difficult news to share, the decision has been made to end development of Transformers: Reactivate,” itsaid.

“This means we will be scaling down to refocus our efforts on other projects. Unfortunately, despite every effort, a number of roles across the studio are now potentially at risk of redundancy.”
It’s unknown where the leaked gameplay footage originated, but it appears to be from a development build of the game. The footage shows off third-person shooting, as well as vehicle combat.
Announced for PC and consoles in December 2022, Transformers: Reactivate was set to be a 1-4 player co-op action game.

“Hasbro was an incredible and supportive partner throughout, and we hope to work with them again. To the many fans, your excitement and support helped keep us going.
Tencent-owned Splash Damageannounced in October 2021 that it was working onworking on an original sci-fi IP.
