Electronic Arts has said that FIFA 23 has built on a record opening week with strong sales and FIFA Ultimate Team engagement.
The publisher recently claimedFIFA 23 had enjoyed a record-breaking launchfor the franchise in terms of first week player numbers.

FIFA 23attracted over 10.3 million players in its first seven days of availability, compared to 9.1 million players who joinedFIFA 22in the 10 days following its release.
EAprovided an update on the game’s performance as part of its second quarter earnings results on Tuesday.

Based on the first four weeks since launch, the publisher said FIFA 23 sales are up 10% and Ultimate Team players are up 6% on the comparable period for FIFA 22.
On Tuesday EA also confirmed the release date and shareddetails on the World Cup mode coming to FIFA 23. The free update will be released on all formats exceptSwitchon November 9, and will also come to FIFAMobileon November 8.
