Fire Emblem Heroes is set to become the third Nintendo mobile title to add an optional subscription service.
As detailed in the video above (via our network partnerNintendo Life), Heroes’ $9.49 monthly fee for Feh Pass will net users two resplendent heroes and four perks each month.
Resplendent heroes are fancily dressed version of characters with new visuals, voices and a +2 boost to all stats. Two will be distributed per month, normally on the 10th and 25th, starting with Lyn on February 5 and Cordelia on February 24.
Among the special perks, two Feh Pass Quests will be available monthly, enabling users to earn valuable items, while expanded summoner support will let players bond with up to three heroes.
A rewind feature called Re-Act will also be included, letting you return to the start of your previous turn if your heroes have yet to act, while auto-start automatically repeats a map until your stamina runs out.
The Feh Pass will be available following the release of the Fire Emblem Heroes version 4.2 update on February 5.
Both Mario Kart Tour and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp have previously launched subscription services.
Nintendo’s six mobile games have reportedly now generated more than $1 billion in combined revenue, with more than half coming from Fire Emblem Heroes.
According to Sensor Tower data, the 2017iOSandAndroidRPG has made over $656 million, or 61 percent ofNintendo’s overall mobile revenue, despite having been downloaded less than Nintendo’s other mobile games.
