Final Fantasy 7 Remake is now “fully playable” using a motion-controlled Buster Sword.

The controller was created bySuper Louis 64,who has previously made videos showing himself playingElden Ringusing a banana as a controller,  or using a slice of pizza as a controller in Final Fantasy 14.

As shown in the clip posted to Twitter, the Buster Sword can be used to block, attack and move, all using gestural control. Louis claims that the mod works on bothPCand PS5.

In the clip, Louis shows himself playing through an early area of the game. It’s unclear if the sword is equipped with the buttons necessary to give instructions to other members of your party, but this is likely to be revealed in a longer video that Louis plans to post next week.

The sword, which appears to be around 5ft tall, accurately represents the main weapon of Cloud Strife, the iconic protagonist of Final Fantasy 7.

The next part in theFinal Fantasy 7 Remaketrilogy will be titledFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

As confirmed during the Final Fantasy 7 25th anniversary stream earlier this year, Part 2  is scheduled to release forPlayStation 5next Winter.
