Far Cry’s crossover Danny Trejo missions are now available to play, more than a month after they were accidentally released early.
The free DLC contains two missions, both starring Trejo as himself, rather than a character.
In the first mission, titled Danny & Danny vs Everybody, players team up with theMachete star to fight Antón Castillo’s forces, who are trying to stop Trejo making tacos to feed the hungry.
When this mission is completed a new Special Operation (the game’s sixth and final one) is unlocked, in which Trejo helps students protesting Castillo’s military.
The first missionwas accidentally releasedin early November, with players able to access what the publisher called a “work-in-progress” version of the DLC.
Ubisoftpromptly pulled the content, apologising for its early release and stressing that it wasn’t ready to play yet.
“The Dani & Danny vs Everybody mission is a work-in-progress and was accidentally released early,” Ubisoft said at the time. “We’re working to remove it and look forward to when players can check out the final version.
“We apologise for any confusion caused and will follow up shortly with more information.”
Far Cry 6 was released on October 7 and has scores of 75 (PS5), 76 (PC) and 80 (Xbox Series X/S) on review aggregator Metacritic.

Ubisoft claimed last week that Far Cry 6’s early sales were in line with those ofAssassin’s Creed Odyssey, a game released in a similar timeframe, and that playtime per user was up 25% compared to Far Cry 5.
The next Far Cry gamecould shake-up the serieswith a greater focus on online play, it has been claimed.
