A new trailer for Fable has been released, this time showing some gameplay.
After announcing the game back in 2020,Xboxshowed nothing untila new cinematic trailer emergedlast year.

Now another trailer has been released, showing a mix of cinematics and gameplay.
It also reveals that the game will be released in 2025, onXbox Series X/SandPC(with Game Pass availability on day one).

“What does it mean to be a hero?” Xbox’s description for the game reads.
“In last year’s trailer, that question was answered by Dave, a gardener-turned-giant with a chip on his shoulder. This year, we get a much darker take from Humphry, played by the British comedy actor Matt King.

“Humphry was once Albion’s greatest Hero, but those glory days are long gone. In Fable, Humphry will be forced out of retirement when a mysterious figure from his past threatens the very existence of Albion.”
DeveloperPlayground Games(which is usually best known for theForza Horizonseries of open-world racing games) has also confirmed that it’s been collaborating withEidos Montrealon the game.

Back in 2021, Xbox bossPhil Spencersaidplayers should be confident in the quality of the gamegiven Playground’s pedigree.
“The only thing I can really say about Fable is, seeing the pedigree of the team and Playground, and where they set the bar for themselves in building a game – I think that showed with theForza Horizon 5preview that they had,” Spencer said.

“I think people should just take confidence in that [studio director] Gavin [Raeburn] and the team there have that same level of focus on doing something amazing with an IP that we know is really important to a lot of Xbox fans, so we can’t wait to get to show more, but the team is just amazing.”
