Epic has extended Fortnite season X and the game’s Batman crossover event by a week.
Gotham City and the Batman Caped Crusader Pack will now be available until the end of season X, which looks set to conclude on October 13, according toFortnite’s version 10.40.1 patchnotes.
“Season X’s Overtime Mission is coming soon,” they read. “The Out of Time Mission will be available from Tuesday, October 8 at 9 AM ET until Sunday, October 13 at 2 PM ET.
“Complete Out of Time’s objectives to earn end-of-Season rewards, including XP, cosmetics, and a Loading Screen that serves as a Season X memento.”
Epic launched the Fortnite Batman crossover eventin September in celebration of the Caped Crusader’s 80th anniversary. It was originally scheduled to run until October 6.
TheEpic Games store also gave away six free Batman gamesin the form of theBatman Arkham Collection, including its DLC, and the Lego Batman Trilogy.
Epicrecently introduceda skill-based matchmaking system for Fortnite battle royale’s core modesin a bid to create a more even playing field.
It also plans to add bots to Fortnite’s non-competitive playlists starting in season 11.
