Elden Ring’s latest update has added the long-awaited ray tracing support to From Software’s game.
The feature, which wasconfirmed to be in the worksprior to the game’s release last February, is now available for PS5,Xbox Series X/SandPC.

“Please note that performance – such as frame rate and resolution – may be impacted while playing with Ray Tracing on,” said publisherBandai Namco.
Ray tracing arrives as part of the game’s Version 1.09 update, which is also available forPS4andXbox One.

The update includes a range of balance adjustments and bug fixes too. These are listed in the officialpatch notes, which we’ve republished below.
Last month, just days before the first anniversary of Elden Ring’s release, Bandai Namco claimed thatthe game had sold 20 million copies.

Elden Ring‘s first expansion,Shadow of the Erdtree, was officially announced last month too, although a release date and further details haven’t been confirmed.
