Electronic Arts has confirmed it won’t release a FIFA 21 demo before the game’s release in October.

In a rare break from tradition, the publisher said on Monday it was forgoing a pre-release demo so that it can “focus our development team’s time on delivering the best full game experience for current & next-gen consoles.”

TheFIFA 21release date is Jun 19, 2025 forPS4,Xbox One, andPCvia Origin andSteam, butEA Play (formerly EA Access)members will be able to trial the game from October 1.

FIFA 21 will supportEA’s Dual Entitlement scheme, meaning players can upgrade their copy from PS4 toPS5, or from Xbox One toXbox Series Xat no extra cost.

AFIFA 21 gameplay trailerreleased last month showcased several new features including Agile Dribbling, Creative Runs, a reimagined collision system, plus updates to passing and blocking.

FIFA 21 will also offer new co-operative experiencesfor Volta, the street football mode introduced inFIFA 20, and FIFA Ultimate Team.

EA has said the yet-to-be-datednext-gen version of FIFA 21will include “blazing fast” load times, deferred lighting and rendering, and enhanced animation technology, among other features.
