EA and Bioware are reportedly confident that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will be released this year.

That’s according to Giant Bomb journalist Jeff Grubb, speaking on theGame Mess Decidespodcast with co-host Mike Minotti.

“I suspect (Dragon Age: Dreadwolf) will probably pop up in the summer,” Grubb claimed. “I don’t know when it’ll be shown, but I assume it’ll be shown sometime this summer.”

On the potential release window for the game, Grubb said, “It will be released this year, last I heard. [EA] are pretty confident about that. That doesn’t mean it’s a guarantee; it could slip, but right now, internally, they expect to release it later this year.”

A “full reveal” ofDragon Age: Dreadwolf is scheduled for the summer, according to EA.

Last October,BioWaregeneral managerGary McKaysaid thatDragon Age: Dreadwolf had reached alpha statusand was playable “from the opening scenes of the first mission to the very end”.

He went on to explain that the team was focused on the game’s pacing, the various relationships that players will have with other characters, as well as “narrative cohesion”.
