EA Access members won’t get to play Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order ahead of its official release as publisher EA claims it wants to reduce the risk of spoilers.
One of the subscription service’s headline features is the ability to play newEAtitles before launch day, with save progress carrying over to the full game if users choose to purchase it.

But there’ll be no early access toStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which is available from Friday November 15 onPS4,Xbox OneandPC.
Instead, EA Access members will receive some exclusive Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order cosmetics

EA says the decision was made in part to avoid spoilers being published, but there’s already plenty of newly leaked information about the game being posted on social media platforms such as Reddit.

The third-person action-adventure game is directed byGod of War3 creative directorStig Asmussen, with a narrative created byAaron Contreras(Mafia III) andChris Avellone(Knight of the Old Republic 2).
It sees players take on the role of young Padawan Cal Kestis, who is played by Shameless and Gotham actor Cameron Monaghan.

The game is available to pre-order from retailers includingAmazon,Best BuyandGame, among others.
Microsoftis also selling newXbox One X($499/£449.99) and Xbox One S ($299/£249.99) Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order console bundles.

EA recently announced that it will release its games on Steam, starting with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order on November 15. The EA Access subscription service will also launch onSteamin spring 2020.
