Dying Light 2’s latest console patch is said to fix issues that have been causing players to get trapped in infinite death loops.
The bug, which wastargeted in a previous PC patch, occurs when a player gets killed in a restricted area and respawns in another part of the map, making it impossible to get back to the mission area before a time limit runs out.

TechlandsaidTuesday’s update forPlayStationconsoles should stop new cases occurring and resolve existing ones, with a similar patch forXboxplayers expected to be released soon.
The game’s latest update also adds a backup save system that enables players to roll back progress to the last working save point.

UPDATE 23/02/22:AnXbox updateincluding the improvements listed above has now been released too.
Additional Xbox-specific improvements include a fix for input lag and controller connection issues that occurred when playing with high framerates onXbox Series X, and a fix for sounds causing loud buzzing and static noises.

Techland began releasing the second free Dying Light 2 DLC pack on Monday.

The Ronin Pack DLC, which is shown off in the trailer above, includes a new gear set being made available this week in three parts, the last of which will be a new weapon.
In January, Techlanddelayed Dying Light 2’s Nintendo Switch release by up to six months.
