Media Molecule will launch virtual reality support for Dreams on July 22.

It will be made available via a free update which enables users to create and share their own virtual reality games,Media Moleculecommunications manager Abbie Heppe told thePlayStation Blog.

Dreams is adding VR support in July

PS4game creation platformDreamsreleased in Early Access form in April 2019 before officially launching in February 2020.

Creative director Mark Healey told VGCearlier this year that VR support and enabling players to make multiplayer online games were the Dreams community’s most requested features.

PublisherSony Interactive Entertainmentrecentlyreleased a trial version of Dreams. The free demo allows players to experience a selection of community creations and play a slice of the Art’s Dream story mode, among other features.

Sony said in January thatPlayStation VR saleshave topped five million units since the headset launched in October 2016.
