Gameloft has confirmed the launch date for Disney Speedstorm Season 3, as well as the line-up of new characters coming to the game.
The Lilo & Stitch inspired Season 3 will launch on August 1, adding the following racers from the series: Stitch, Angel, Lilo, Jumba and Captain Gantu.
It will include a Lilo & Stitch themed Season Tour, a matching environment and customisation items too.
Minnie Mouse will also be added to the game as the featured racer for Season 3, with players able to unlock her by completing a special event,GameSpotreports.
She will be a Brawler-class racer, her unique skill will be Helper’s Aura, and players will be able to upgrade Minnie Mouse using a polka dot bow consumable.
Gameloftrecently confirmed thatDisney Speedstormwill officiallyrelease on September 28 as a free-to-play titleonPCand consoles, completing its Early Access period.
Early Access for the kart-racer launched in April via three separate premium versions, each offering different additional content.
“Since the launch of Early Access, we’ve received invaluable feedback and support from our incredible community of players, who have been instrumental to the improvements made during Early Access,” Gameloft said this month.
“Moving to a free-to-play experience will also allow for more players to share in a fully robust competitive and co-op racing experience. We can’t wait to continue this journey together as we enter this exciting new phase. Stay tuned for more details!”
