Though any gacha game is best played with your favourite characters, when it comes to efficiently spending time on pulling and upgrading an expanding roster, it’s good to know what you’re not wasting precious resources on weak characters. Here’s how best to use the game’s infinite reroll potential to get the best team for free.
Disney Pixel RPG tier list – Who are the best characters at launch?
Right now, the Disney Pixel RPG tier list is focused primarily on a character’s rarity. The rarer they are, the higher they rank.
This will change as testing uncovers specific areas where a 1 or 2-star character’s skillset proves valuable in a difficult stage. They may also become more powerful than a base 3-star character without relying on hard-to-get duplicates.
How to reroll in Disney Pixel RPG – Who should you reroll for?
As a rule of thumb, a good beginner gacha reroll should have three 2* characters in the first three slots and a top-tier 3* character like Carnival: Donald Duck (damage) or Jewel Guardian: Genie (support) in the final slot. The more duplicate 2* characters in get in slots 4-9, the better. You can use them to upgrade them, thus increasing their longevity in content.
You don’t need to reset your account and run through a lengthy tutorial to perform a Disney Pixel RPG reroll. The first free 10-pull can be repeated infinitely until you get the lineup you desire.
If you want to go a step further, run through the rest of the tutorial until you can claim the daily and pre-registration bonuses. Pull as much as you can in either of the two featured banners. Reroll if you don’t get either featured character or a duplicate of the 3* character you got from the tutorial gacha.
How does the Disney Pixel RPG beginner gacha work? – Starting rates and slots explained
Each of the 10 pull slots in the repeatable starting gacha are essentially unique banners. For example; Slot 10 is always a 3-star character from the entire starting roster (sans Maleficent and Aurora), with no other slot containing a single one.
Slots 1-3 can include a 1 or 2-star character, with slot 3 drawing from a much wider pool. No 2-star characters repeat in these three slots.
So, if you want a near-perfect reroll in terms of rarity, you need to pull three 2-star characters from the first three slots at the very least. After that, any additional 2-star characters that appear in slots 4-9 are a bonus. This is the only way to get duplicates from the first three slots.
Here’s the list of characters available in each slot of the beginner banner and their star rarity (denoted by “*”):
To stretch a Disney Pixel RPG reroll further, complete the first battle after the tutorial pull and claim the login and pre-registration rewards from your mailbox to earn two more 10-pulls from the featured banners.
If you don’t get either main banner character (Enchanted Princess Aurora or Evil Ruler: Maleficent), delete your account and run through the whole process again.
How to delete a Disney Pixel RPG account
Here’s a quick and easy way to delete your Disney Pixel RPG account to allow for rerolls:
Once you’re through the tutorial, you can delete your Disney Pixel RPG account by opening the main menu (bottom-left), tapping the ‘Other’ button, going into Account Management, and following the steps on the Delete Account page.
This means you don’t have to uninstall the game to delete your DPRPG account and reroll. Just delete the account and skip through the character creation and tutorial sections again.
Once you’re happy with your reroll, tie your account to yourGoogleorAppleaccount. That way you’ll be able to hop between devices like a phone and tablet as and when you need to.
How to get Aurora and Maleficent in Disney Pixel RPG
Though they feature high on the tier list right now, Aurora and Maleficent can’t be found in the beginning reroll gacha. They’re available in their own separate launch-day banners. Pull 50 times (that’s 5 10-pulls at 15,000 Blue/Red Crystals) to get either one guaranteed.
How to get more free Blue Crystals / Gems in Disney Pixel RPG
To get enough Blue Crystals (or Gems) to perform a third 10-pull, just work on easy tasks in the Job Center like changing your avatar, sending a message, and other basic admin tasks.
Before you finish the first story chapter, you should be able to tap into the Indexes screen to claim loads of gems based on enemies you’ve defeated and characters you’ve met.
