Diablo 4 passed $666 million in sales in its first five days, Blizzard has claimed.

The conveniently Satanic-themed milestone makes the gameBlizzard‘s fastest-selling title ever, according to the studio.

The “fastest-selling” claim, Blizzard explains, is “based on both units and dollars sold-through on all platforms through the first five days after launch (through June 10)”.

With over 276 million hours spent in#DiabloIValready, it’s been one Hell of a launch.

Blizzard also provided player statistics for the game’s first week, including the following:

Expert players have been racing to be among the first 1000 to reach experience level 100 on the game’s Hardcore difficulty, in which any time a player dies their character is perma-killed and they have to start again from level 1.

The first 1000 players to accomplish this willhave their names etched onto a statueof the game’s antagonist, Lilith.

Twitch streamer Souaïb ‘cArn’ Hanaf was the first confirmed player to reach level 100, but after 82 hours of playthe game then disconnected from the server, killing his character. His accomplishment will still be recorded on the statue, however.
