Five PlayStation 5s, the latest video from internet humour siteLoadingReadyRun, has marked the third console generation in a row it’s managed to secure multiple PlayStation consoles at launch.
Presented by Canadian host Paul Saunders, the cult video series started in December 2009 when the comedian boasted in a satirical video about histhree PlayStation 3 consoles, accumulating over 2 million video views and inspiringa roster of similar videosfrom other creators.
In December 2013, Saunders repeated the stunt with thefour PlayStation 4s video, and on Saturday he completed the trilogy with fivePlayStation 5s, seemingly overcomingsignificant stock shortagesstill being faced by consumers.
Asked how much it cost to obtain the highly-desired consoles, LoadingReadyRunsaid on Twitterthe PS5s “were more expensive than the location rental.”
