Comments of the Week is our new weekly section in which we look at our favourite:

Comments of the Week: ‘Street Fighter 6’s logo was clearly stolen from Scooby-Doo’

To qualify for Comments of the Week, a comment doesn’t have to necessarily be amusing (though it certainly helps its chances). It can be a good point, an interesting observation or, on occasion, something so ridiculous it has to be called out.

It should go without saying, but if you want to have a chance of being featured in Comments of the Week in the future then be sure to comment on our articles, reply to our tweets, comment onour YouTube videosandjoin our Discord server. We’ll take it from there.

68% of Horizon Forbidden West’s UK physical buyers paid £70, instead of the cheaper upgrade

“Hell if that’s the case, keep giving us the $60 option thenSony. That way, you still get a majority of purchases at that $70 price point, while those of us who like buying the exact same cheaper alternative can do so. It’s a win-win.”

Can’t argue with that logic, rogueCortex, though we did get enough of a headache trying to explain Horizon’s different versions.

God of War Ragnarök (PS5)£31.95£69.99$48.87£69.99$…

“What’s more likely? They stole a image that was going to be plastered all over everything and would pretty obviously get linked to this stock image over 80 bucks?

“Or that the stock image is so generic that if you had a game that started with the letters SF and since it’s a fighting game you might surround those letter in a hexagonal shape having never seen the stock image?”

Dying Light 2’s latest console patch fixes death loop issues and more

“They literally fixed nothing except for the terrible save system and even then I’m not sure that’s fixed. Errors that I have personally still been experiencing are, blue screens, death loop because of the ground disappearing due to memory leaks, audio & subtitles for the dialog are still broken, co-op breaks missions and the only fix is restarting the game, when joining co-op there is a chance that your save file will be over written with the other person’s save file which undoes everything you have done, joining co-op takes multiple tries, if you join the same person and leave 3-4 times it will break their game and prevent players from joining, joining co-op still results in death due to ‘leaving mission area’.

“I could go on and on but I won’t. Look at the bright side console players, at least you can turn off motion blur. Game should not have released, should be pulled from all digital game stores, all customers should be refunded.Techlandbecame greedy & rushed to release a completely unplayable game. Techland have proven they are just as incompetent asRockstar,Bethesda,CD Projekt Redetc. Mediocre broken games are the standard today. The gaming market needs to crash again so greedy mediocre game development studios die off and only quality remains.”

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2£37.99£44.49$54.99$69.99$69.9…

We have to admit,Xaphan Vassago, our favourite part of that was where you said “I could go on and on but I won’t”, and then you did.

Call of Duty will reportedly skip an annual release for the first time in nearly 20 years

“Good move, but I thinkVanguardmight have done some lasting damage. A lot will hinge on the quality of the next release in terms of direction more than anything.”

It could certainly be one of the most important entries in the series,Fallenlords.

Nintendo Switch (OLED Model) - Neon Blue/Neon Red$…

Bandai Namco UK will be turning 100 Elden Ring fans into official ‘Elden Ladies and Lords’

“Ooh, that’d be a great win. If only to correct my boss. ‘From now on you must address me as Lord Caffeine Rage, not hey you slacker!'”

To be honest, we think just getting your boss to call youCaffeine Ragein the first place would be a win in itself.

Doesn’t playstation store have surgeon simulator?

It’s… it’s not exactly the same,@GeorgeStoumpos. One has you cutting people open to an almost laughable degree, and the other is Surgeon Simulator.

This is a ridiculous move. Certainly this will be costly. Having the Fifa license makes the game feel more immersive and realistic, even the champions league feels like a big game. I honestly think they going to regret this move. Come 24, their sales will collapse.

Putting aside the fact that the Champions League is a UEFA licence, not a FIFA one, we don’t necessarily think ditching the FIFA name will be as catastrophic as some think,@Mudzoo_786. After all, International Superstar Soccer Pro and Championship Manager seemed to do just fine after becoming Pro Evolution Soccer and Football Manager.

We should pay you to write guides for us,@NickdeBruyne.

Clearly stolen from Scooby-Doo 🤣pic.twitter.com/6PfzYzsbNU

That’s a fair point,@dralithi. Everyone remembers that episode of Scooby-Doo where Shaggy gets a degree in graphic design.

And Hulk is a character in it

Well, we can’t unsee how green he is now,@Kyrpjooseppi6, so thanks for that.

I like this but also I hope not every single game comes out looking exactly like Octopath Traveler because it’s like overusing an instagram filter.

Unless it’s the Instagram filter that makes you look like a hot dog,@lunatic_core. Then we’d be up for it.
