CD Projekt Red has confirmed which of the new features coming to Cyberpunk 2077 will be free for all players and which ones are tied to the game’s upcoming expansion.
Set for release on September 26, the $30 / £25 Phantom Liberty expansion promises toentirely overhaul the way Cyberpunk 2077 is played, according to the studio.

In an interview in June, creative director Pawel Sasko and quest designer Despoina Anetaki told VGC that “all the core main systems” of the game have been “redone or updated in a major way”.
Gameplay designer Yulia Pryimakshowcased some of these new features, including vehicle combat, duringGamescomOpening Night Live last month.

It was also announced that some of the new features introduced in Phantom Liberty will be added to the base game as part of Update 2.0, which will be available for current-gen consoles andPC.
