Call of Duty: Warzone has attracted over 60 million players since releasing on March 10, Activision Blizzard announced on Tuesday.
The milestone player count was revealed as part of the publisher’s first quarter earnings results.

It continues a strong start for the game, which attractedsix million players in 24 hours,15 million players in three days,30 million players in 10 days, and50 million players in one month.
Activisionalso said that sales of 2019’sCall of Duty: Modern Warfareare tracking at a record high.

“Life-to-date, Modern Warfare has sold through more units and has more players than any prior Call of Duty title at this point after its release.
“In the first quarter, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare unit sell-through was the highest for the franchise outside of a launch quarter.

“Following substantial year-over-year growth versus the prior title in January and February, unit sell-through accelerated in March, driven by upgrades fromWarzoneas well as rising demand amidst shelter-at-home conditions.”
Activision also said on Tuesday that the next premium Call of Duty game, which is expected to be a Black Ops title fromTreyarch,“already looks great and remains on track for release later this year”.

The latest Call of Duty:Modern Warfare and Warzone playlist updatereleased on Tuesday. It disabled helicopters in Battle Royale, among other features.
While it continues to work on fixes for several issues, including anXP bug which results in Battle Passes appearing inactive, as well asconnectivity and voice chat problems,Infinity Wardhas activated double XP in Modern Warfare and Warzone until Friday.

Raven Software’s creative director Amos Hodge recently provided an update on the much-requestedCall of Duty Warzone Duosmode, while Infinity Ward studio narrative directorTaylor KurosakisaidCall of Duty Warzone will “connect” the franchise’s various sub-brandssuch as Modern Warfare and Black Ops in the future.
