Activision has confirmed how much storage space is required for Call of Duty: Vanguard on consoles and when players will be able to pre-load the game.
In a blog post revealing the game’s install size for each platform, the companyclaimed“new on-demand texture streaming tech”reduces the space needed by up to 50 percentcompared to previous series entries on new-gen consoles andPC.

The following file size estimates include pre-loading and the disk space required to play the game:
Thanks to their many modes and frequent content updates, the previous two Call of Duty games,Modern WarfareandBlack Ops Cold War, have frequently hovered around 200GB in size on consoles.

Earlier this year,Activisionacknowledged that when combined, Black Ops Cold War, Modern Warfare andWarzonemay be too large to fit on a 500GB PS4.

Pre-loading forPlayStationconsoles starts on October 28 at 9pm PT in North and South America, and on October 29 at midnight local time in all other countries.

On Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, pre-loading will be available from October 28 at 9pm PT (October 29 at 5am BST).
Pre-loading for PC will begin on November 2. Further details, including minimum, recommended, and competitive PC specs, will be revealed in the coming days.
