Activision says it hears calls from the Call of Duty: Mobile community to introduce controller support for the game “loud and clear”.
In an update on theCall of Duty: Mobilesubreddit, the company said it’s testing the feature ahead of its possible introduction in the future.

“We hear you loud and clear that you want to know about controller support,” itsaid. “We are currently testing controller support and looking at the possibility of offering this feature sometime in the future, but we’d have to make sure it is properly implemented and balanced. Just hang tight.”
Prior to the title’s official launch,Call of Duty Mobile controller support was includedin the game’s settings, but was laterremoved via an update.Activision’s VP of mobile, Chris Plummer, has saidCall of Duty Mobile controller support could returnin the future in the form of separate game lobbies.

Call of Duty Mobile added a free-for-all modefor a limited time on Friday. Activision says additional modes and content, time-limited events and playlists will be added regularly, and its Reddit post teases the return of a “classic” on Monday October 14.
It also says it’s dedicated to improving performance across the board for all supported devices, is working on extra ways for players to report cheaters beyond the existing in-game reporting tool, and addresses issues some players have reported related toFacebooklogins, voice chat, installation and friends lists.

Call of Duty Mobile downloads topped 100 millionin record time, reportedly hitting the milestone within a week ofthe game’s release on October 1.
“This is by far the largest mobile game launch in history in terms of the player base that’s been built in the first week,” said Randy Nelson, head of mobile insights at research firm Sensor Tower.

Call of Duty: Mobile is playable on PCviaAndroidemulator GameLoop, which offers mouse and keyboard controls plus “exclusive key mapping”.
