Bungie has confirmed a June 23, 2025 release date for Destiny 2’s Lightfall expansion.
The studio revealed the launch date during aDestiny2 showcase on Tuesday, which included the premiere of a new trailer which is viewable below.

Lightfall will be followed by one further chapter, whichBungiehas saidwill fully complete its first saga of Destiny.
During Tuesday’s showcase, Bungie also announced thatDestiny 2 is now available on the Epic Games Store. Until August 30, players can download the game’s 30th Anniversary Pack (normally $24.99 / £21.99) free fromEpic’s marketplace.

Destiny skins will be coming toFortnitetoday and toFall Guyson September 17 too.
Bungie also announced that all of Destiny 2’s expansions (Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, and The Witch Queen) are now free to play for the next week on all platforms. And it said it is not planning to sunset any more expansions.
