Bravely Default 2 has been classified for Nintendo Switch, suggesting its release could be imminent.
The RPG wasannounced in December 2019for release in 2020, and a demo was released on the eShop in March of this year.

The game received an M (Mature)ratingfrom the Australian Classification Board on September 22.
Bravely Default 2producerTomoya Asano(Octopath Traveler) and composer Revo (Sound Horizon/Linked Horizon) held the same roles on 2012’s original Bravely Default forNintendo 3DS.

PublisherNintendosays the upcomingSwitchgame features a new story, world and characters, “but with the atmosphere and excitement the Bravely series is known for”.
It sees players travelling the world “in search of the four Crystals with the latest incarnation of the brave band known as the Heroes of Light”.

Nintendo has aired severalNintendo DirectMinipartner showcasesfocused on third-party games over the past few months.
Themost recent on September 17was used to announceOri and the Will of the Wispsfor Switch,which was released digitally on the same day.

It was also used to revealMonster Hunter RiseandMonster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin,which are set for release on Switch in 2021.
