Blizzard has confirmed plans to reveal a Warcraft mobile game next week.

The title will be shown off in alive streamtaking place on May 3 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST / 7pm CEST.

In February,Activision Blizzard saidit planned to get “all-new mobile Warcraft content into players’ hands for the first time” in 2022.

A year earlier, the publisher revealed thatmultiple free-to-play Warcraft mobile gameswere deep in development.

“This will create opportunities for both existing players and new fans to experience the Warcraft universe in entirely new ways,” CEOBobby Koticksaid at the time.

Earlier this month,Blizzard announced World of Warcraft’s ninth expansion, Dragonflight.

Among other features, Dragonflight will introduce World of Warcraft’s first ever combination race and class: dracthyr Evokers.

The expansion, which doesn’t yet have a release date, was announced alongside World of Warcraft Lich King Classic.

Arriving later this year, the re-release of the game’s 2008 expansion will be available at no additional cost to players with an active World of Warcraft subscription.

BlizzardpresidentMike Ybarra recently claimed the studio isn’t planning to launch NFTsafter it emerged that the Warcraft andOverwatchmaker was polling its players on their interest in NFTs and ‘play to earn’ cryptocurrency games.

The studio is currently staffing up for work on“a new AAA survival game” for PC and console.
