Activision will launch Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 2 on February 25.
The free content update and its release date were revealed in a cinematic trailer whichtakes place in the jungles of Laos in Southeast Asia.

“Get ready to descend into the heart of the Golden Triangle as Frank Woods and his team go on the hunt for Russell Adler, who went missing at the end of Season One after being captured by Stitch,”Activisionsays. “But the strike team finds a new adversary in the form of Kapono ‘Naga’ Vang, a ruthless trafficker of Nova 6.”

It’s reportedly preparing to release anew Cold War-themed Warzone mapto coincide with the game’s first anniversary in March 2021.

Black Ops Cold War, which was only released in November 2020, already ranks among the top 20 best-selling games in US history, according tomarket research firm NPD Group.
Earlier this month Activision announced plans to release anew premium Call of Duty gamein the fourth quarter of 2021 and claimed that theCall of Duty franchise has generated $27 billionin lifetime sales since launching in 2003.
