Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 owners earn Warzone XP at a faster rate than other players.

An XP boost is advertised in a newBlack Ops 6andWarzonetrailer released on Tuesday, which is titled ‘Maximize Your Gameplay’.

“Get a 30% XP boost” during Black Ops 6 seasons of content, reads a message in the trailer, which is viewable at the top of this page. “Level up faster in Warzone.”

As spotted byCharlie Intel, the post-game report screen in Warzone also sometimes advertises a “premium XP boost” for players who purchase Black Ops 6.

Full Black Ops 6 and Warzone integration launched with the release of theCall of Duty Season 1 update last week.

It introduced a new Warzone Resurgence map called Area 99, and returning maps Urzikstan and Rebirth Island, although the latter waspulled on Mondaywhile the game’s developers “investigate map-specific issues”.

A Black Ops 6 update released on Tuesday has added support for legacy XP tokens.

Unlike recent series entriesModern Warfare2 andModern Warfare 3, Black Ops 6 wasn’t originally due to support XP tokens players had stored from previous games.

However, the Season 1 update introduced a “UI bug [that] allowed players to activate legacy XP tokens in Black Ops 6”, according to developerTreyarch. “Unfortunately, it also introduced some potential risk to game stability”, so the studio patched it out.

The move didn’t go down well with players, and the studio has nowadded supportfor legacy XP token functionality once more.
