The new game from BioShock creator Ken Levine is scheduled to be released within the next couple of years.
In its earnings results this week, publisherTake-Twosaid it plans to release the game between now and the end of its 2025 fiscal year, which runs until June 11, 2025.

Judas is one of 87 games Take-Two is planning to release during this window (38 are mobile titles), although delays are always possible.
“We did have some slippage in the last few years,” Take-Two CEOStrauss ZelnicktoldIGN. “We feel really stable right now. I feel great about our upcoming schedule.

“Of course, there’s always the possibility of some slippage but the teams seem to be functioning really well and I’m optimistic about delivering great titles to the marketplace on an ongoing basis.”
Judas is the debut title fromGhost Story Games, which Levine formed following the closure of BioShock studio Irrational Games.

Officially announced in December, it will be released forPS5,Xbox Series X/S, andPCviaSteamand theEpic Games Store
“A disintegrating starship. A desperate escape plan,” the game’s synopsis reads.

“You are the mysterious and troubled Judas. Your only hope for survival is to make or break alliances with your worst enemies. Will you work together to fix what you broke – or will you leave it to burn?”

In January 2022,Bloombergreported that the game was originally planned to be a BioShock-style shooter set on a space station, where three inhabiting factions would react to the player’s choices.
It claimed the game was initially targeting a 2017 release, but that it hadsuffered from a series of reboots and staff departures, including half of the studio’s original team.

Levine is not involved withthe next BioShock game, which is in development at2K GamesstudioCloud Chamber.
