DICE will reveal Battlefield V’s War in the Pacific season of content on Wednesday.
Update, October 23:Battlefield VChapter 5:War in the Pacific will launch on October 31, introducing new maps, weapons, vehicles and more.

Original story continues:It was previously announced thatChapter 5: War in the Pacific would introducethree new maps, including a modern take on Iwo Jima, and at least seven fresh weapons and gadgets before the end of the year. It will also add new factions (the US and Japan) and vehicles, including boats.
However, given featuredelaysandcancellationsduring Battlefield V’s Chapter 4: Defying the Odds season of content,DICE’s roadmap may have changed somewhat.

DICEprovidedan early look at Chapter 5’s development during anEAPlay event in June. This week’s reveal will be viewable via the trailer below when it goes live on Wednesday.

DICE general manager Oskar Gabrielson recently apologisedto a community of players “frustrated and disappointed with the experience across”Battlefield V Chapter 4: Defying the Odds, which introduced a number of game issues the studio has been working to address ever since.
“I hope the work we’ve put into Battlefront II is a testament to our long-term commitment to our games and our communities,” he said in August. “We’ll get Battlefield V back on track and make it the awesome game you all deserve.”

Publisher EA will hold the third of threeBattlefield V free weekend trialsforPCbeginning on Thursday October 24.
